Homesteading Solo

wanderervii: I'm a mother of four, writer of books, singer of songs, maker of cheese and baker of bread, with a deep love for theological hymns and an insatiable desire to do it all myself. My horse is old, my cat is huge, my gilt might be pregnant and my hens go on strike whenever it gets too cold. Our family is using thrift and a very slow house-flipping process to build enough capital to buy and/or build the homestead of our dreams.
